- Correctly recorded vertical dimension (VOD) and centric occlusial relation
- Correct selection of the right type, size, mold and color of denture teeth
- Determining the proper tooth positioning outline of the upper and lower jaws
These first six steps only cover some of what it takes to adaquately plan denture treatment. There are many more steps to actually build a personalized set of dentures. The point is that less than 1% of denture providers actually go the extent of what it really takes to make a proportionately accurate and well functioning set of dentures.
